The Mohammed VI Foundation of African Oulema section in South Africa organizes  a scientific conference under the theme of: “Common religious Constants: Foundations of the African Identity”, on Saturday and Sunday:, 29-30 June 2019 , corresponding to 25 Shawwal, in Pretoria.

Openning session :

Axe I: Common African Religious Constants: Understandings and Components

  • 1st presentation: Common African Religious Constants: Understandings and Content by Prof. Hassan Azzouzi, Senior lecturer at Sidi Mohamed BenAbdellah University, Fes, Kingdom of Morocco .
  • 2nd presentation: The Effect of Sunni Schools of Law in Reinforcing Peace and Compassion: A South African Case Study with Regard to Attempt to Enact Muslim Personal La by Dr. Muneer Abduroaf- Lecturer, University of Western Cap, Attorney and Trustee- Highlands Waqaf Trust.
  • Recitation of verses from the Holy Quran: by Sheikh MousHaroun, Quran reciter from South Africa.

Axe II: The Effect of the Sunni Schools of Jurisprudence (Hanafi, Shafi-ee & Maliki) in Re-enforcing Peace and Compassion

  • 1st presentation: The Maliki Madh-hab in West Africa by Prof. Farida Zumurrud – Lecturer in Higher Education at the Foundation of Daral Hadeeth Al-Hasaniyyah, University of Qarawiyyeen, Rabat, Kingdom of Morocco
